Basic Skills Bridge Program

The next step for Learn to Skate skaters who are ready to experience what club skating is all about.

About the Program

Looking to Take the Next Step?

The Bridge Program is designed for skaters currently enrolled in the Shores School of Skating or Learn to Skate program who are thinking about joining the St. Clair Shores Figure Skating Club.

Private practice allows skaters to learn at a faster pace than group lessons. You will get a feel for what club practice is really like — working one-on-one with a coach and having dedicated time to practice your skills on club ice.

After 6 months in the Bridge Program, skaters must make arrangements to join the SCSFSC as a full club member.

All Bridge skaters must be members of Learn to Skate USA. Register at LearnToSkateUSA.com.

Cost Per Skate $25
$15 — Ice Fee 45 minute session · paid to SCSFSC · checks made out to SCSFSC
$10 — Lesson Fee 15 minute private lesson · paid directly to the coach at time of lesson

Longer lessons or different billing options can be arranged directly with your coach.

Schedule Flexible based on club ice hours and coach availability

Mon–Thu: 7:30 am–12:30 pm
Fri: 8:00–11:30 am

Fall–Spring (Sep–May)
Mon–Fri: 2:30–6:30 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am–12:00 pm
