As you are all aware we will be having a General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 @ 6:30 pm in the upstairs meeting room.

Along with this meeting we will also have our annual election for our Board of Directors. There are a total of nine Directors on the board. Each year we elect three board members to serve a 3 year term.

This year we have four open positions: three 3-year terms and one 1-year term. The reason we have a 1 year term open is we had a Director resign from their position.

If you are interested in running for one of our four open positions please submit a letter of intent no later than May 1st.

After all letters of intent are submitted the election committee will post the letters on the door to the club office. Letters of intent should be endorsed by two senior members.

Please be advised that in order to run for a Director position you must meet the following criteria, per our by-laws:

Section 7.3 Qualification
Any candidate for the Board of Directors must be a Senior Member in good standing and have been a Senior Member for at least eighteen (18) months prior to the date of his election or appointment.
a) No active figure skating professional shall be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors, nor shall the spouse or immediate family of any active figure skating professional under contract to the Club be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
b) Either husband or wife of a Senior Membership shall be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors, but not both at the same time.
